Usually when we hear about burns from electrical accidents, we think that the burns are from the electricity moving through the victim’s body. In fact, most burn and tissue damage that is caused during electrical incidents is a result of the arc flash that is created. This course will provide an overview of the hazards association with Arc Flash events and provide you with an understanding of how to protect yourself from electrical dangers.
This awareness module is compliant to the CSA Z462-08 Workplace Electrical Safety Standard. The average student will require approximately 45 minutes to complete both the course and quiz.
